João Carvalho.
João Carvalho has a degree in Information Systems and Software from Instituto Universitário da Maia, completed in 2012. During his academic years, he integrated some business systems and network management projects and had the opportunity to contact with a broader range of technologies.
João started his professional career in 2000 as an IT technician, in a company working on the automation of textile industry machines, where he evolved and accumulated his knowledge of systems and network administration for nearly 6 years.
Looking for bigger challenges and to widen his knowledge, over the next decade and a half, João integrated professional challenges in challenging IT areas, where he spent part of the time, managing IT systems and networks, IT teams and departments, and focusing on both professional and personal growth.
In March 2021, he started working for B.ACIS - Center for Health Innovation, School of Medicine, where he is once more part of the IT department, and looking forward to embracing the challenge of growing this department within the organization.
Alongside this project, he works as a member of the IT department of the Centro de Medicina Digital P5 and Clinic Academic Center - Braga, Association (2CA-Braga). The P5 Digital Medicine Center is an association whose main goal is the promotion of health activities with little expression in the National Health Service through the use of new technologies and the Clinical Academic Center of Braga (2CA-Braga), it is a non-profit partnership between the University of Minho (through the School of Medicine and the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute [ICVS]), the Hospital of Braga (HB), and the CUF-Porto Hospital.
