The B.ACIS recently marked the inauguration of its governing bodies for the new term, representing an important milestone in strengthening its mission in health innovation, advanced medical training, and scientific development.

The new Board is chaired by Nuno Osório, with Belém Marques serving as Vice-President, alongside other members who make up the institution’s governing bodies.

Integrated within the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, B.ACIS has been establishing itself as a reference hub in promoting initiatives that bring together research, clinical practice, and specialized training.

The inauguration ceremony reflected the new Board’s commitment to continuing the work developed so far, reinforcing its focus on training healthcare professionals, creating advanced training programmes, and developing innovative projects with a tangible impact on society.
