Braga Course in Head & Neck Radiology: Another Successful Edition Focused on Temporal Bone Imaging

The III Edition of the Braga Course in Head & Neck Radiology brought together national and international specialists for two intensive days of advanced medical education dedicated to imaging anatomy and pathology of the temporal bone.

Held in Braga, Portugal, the course provided an immersive scientific programme focused on head and neck radiology, neuroradiology and otologic imaging, combining expert-led lectures, workshop sessions and clinical discussions in a highly collaborative educational environment.

Organized with the support of B.acis | Center for Health Innovation, the course explored a wide range of relevant topics in temporal bone imaging and ENT radiology, including inflammatory and infectious pathology, tumoral lesions, facial nerve palsy, vertigo, tinnitus and sensorineural hearing loss.

Throughout the programme, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of imaging techniques used in the evaluation of temporal bone pathology, with particular emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and advanced radiological approaches for diagnostic support and clinical decision-making.

The scientific programme featured an outstanding faculty composed of recognized experts in radiology, neuroradiology and otology, promoting discussion around current challenges and innovations in head and neck imaging.

The course also included interactive workshop sessions and case discussions, encouraging practical interpretation and multidisciplinary exchange between faculty members and participants.
