This course will review the Anatomy, Pathology, and Operative approaches to vascular and neoplastic intracranial lesions.
After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:

– Describe the microsurgical anatomy of the brain and vascular system
– Select operative approaches to tumors and vascular lesions of the brain
– Distinguish between different management strategies for low grade gliomas
– Dissect the connecting fibers of the brain

Our goal is to have world references to vastly discuss Microneurosurgical procedures in different pathologies. Microneurosurgery does not solely refer to the user operating microscope, rather it is a conceptual way of planning and executing all stages of the operation utilizing delicate techniques of handling the different tissues For that reason we invited world experts in different areas: Dr. Al Mefty, Dr. Ali Krisht, Dr. Ture and Dr. Froelich.

We believe this kind of symposium will be useful for both residents and qualified Neurosurgeons.
