Joana Soares.

In 2019, Joana Soares completed a degree in Communication Sciences, with a specialization in Journalism and Information, at the University of Minho. During her academic years, she collaborated with two magazines covering a variety of topics: RUA, which has both a printed and an online edition, and U-FIT, an exclusively online publication.

Joana has always had a strong interest in event organization and management. Shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic began, she started an internship in the Quality Department at Bosch Braga, where she was responsible for the organization of Quality Week and other internal initiatives in collaboration with the Communication Department.

In March 2022, Joana joined the Advanced Scientific Training Department at B.ACIS as an Events Specialist. In February 2026, she stepped into the role of Head of Advanced Scientific Training, where she leads the strategic development and coordination of advanced scientific training initiatives.
