BASIC LAPAROSCOPY FOR RESIDENTS

Residents of different surgical specialties have to be familiar with both open and laparoscopic approaches and they might have early contact with minimally invasive techniques.
For these reasons, we prepared this hands-on course specially designed for residents where basic minimally invasive techniques will be taught both in theoretical and practical sessions.

Participants will get familiar with laparoscopic equipment and instruments and will have the opportunity to practice laparoscopic dissection, coagulation, ligation, and suture techniques in ex vivo tissues. The course will occur in a hybrid way, with practical sessions at the surgical lab, and asynchronous sessions through an on-demand online platform.
