  • Overview

    The 8th Edition of the Capsule Endoscopy Training Program (CETP) will be hosted by the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, from May 17th to 19th, 2023.

     

    The faculty is granted by the Gastroenterology Department of Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira, Guimarães – Portugal, an approved Training Centre of the European Board of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, with vast clinical, educational, and research experience on capsule endoscopy.

     

    The CETP is dedicated to Gastroenterology trainees and seniors’ aiming to improve basic and up-to-date knowledge, as well as fundamental practical skills for daily practice on small bowel and colon capsule endoscopy. Based on individual workstations for personalized hands-on training, this course allows an appealing balance of theoretical and practical learning, including state-of-the-art lectures, overview of the latest software developments, and practical tips and tricks to improve quality outcomes, such as bowel preparation, reading technique, image interpretation, and structured report.
